Shakespeare Synergy TI6U

For those of us just learning to cast a line the open spinning reels have a lot to be desired. Because of that I prefer the closed top type reels. Like the Shakespeare Synergy TI6U. the features of the reel are:

  • 2 ball bearings

  • Titanium line guide.
  • Insta-Grab™ dual Titanium pickup pins.
  • Durable elastomer pinch ring for reduced line wear.
  • On/off anti-reverse and bait clicker.
  • Strong metal handle with soft-grip rubber knobs.
  • Left/right convertible retrieve.
  • Available in box and blister.

Unlike most reels that are top mounted, the TI6U is bottom mounted and has a trigger release. It holds 90 yards of 6# line. I cannot wait to try this one out. Practicing in my backyard I have increased my cast by about 20 feet. So I should beable to catch some monster hogs next time I go out.
